'Disney Dreamlight Valley' is a life simulation adventure Game with of course, disney characters instead of original villagers created specifically for the game.
What's great about it is you don't even need to be a huge Disney fan to like this game, as long as it's your kind of game (i'm thinking of games like 'Animal Crossing' or Stardew Valley) you should enjoy it and have a good enough time.
Lucky for me though i'd say i'm a big enough fan of Disney to be hyped to have certain characters in my Valley, making the experience a little more special and unique than other life-sims.
The story is surprisingly relatable too, with themes of sadness, loneliness, and anger sprinkled in there, though it never goes off the rails and become a super depressing game or anything like that, it's still a fun (and addictive) game to play when you need relax.

I mean.. look, judging from the trailers I expected it to be different from the other 'Fear Street' movies but they could've had at least one lesbian kiss in there still, and the moment where Lori and her best friend say they love each other would've been the perfect time to have that, like c'mon it was right there!
But in all seriousness, this was pretty disappointing to say the least, as someone who loved binging the 'Fear Street' trilogy from 2021 for the very first time this year while impatiently anticipating 'Prom Queen' but unfortunately it just fell flat in my opinion.
First, why did I get rickrolled in 2025 ? Who thought 'Never Give You Up' was a good choice for this movie ? I just wanna talk with the person responsible.
Second, they (Lori and the bully character) also unironically decided to have a dance battle in this 90 minutes long movie, again, I just wanna talk to whoever was responsible because that added literally nothing.
And third, the killer reveal was extremely predictable, like, painfully so, if you wanna try and be surprised, don't watch the trailer and maybe then you won't guess it.
Sure, at the very least, 'Prom Queen' had gory kills, but that's to be expected with these movies at this point so whatever.
'Prom Queen' is only really good if this is your first time watching a 'Fear Street' movie, or if you have 90 minutes to spare and have nothing else to watch, as it stands for me it's not the worst thing ever, it's just mediocre, I'm only going this hard on it because I'm a fan of this franchise.
Despite that though, I don't want Netflix to stop popping out 'Fear Street' movies anytime soon, but please bring back Leigh Janiak as the director, it'll probably be better that way.

I don't really get the low rating on this one, and reading the reviews on here didn't help me understand it.
I mean, there's nothing cooler than a gory action film with horror elements, and what's even cooler is that it does the rape revenge trope actually well and in a non-exploitative way.
And sure, you're allowed to just not like the movie but if your only gripe with it is that it's unrealistic then I can't say it's exactly fair to it.
I'll admit that all the blood we saw at the end was a bit much but as someone who's seen 'The Substance' before this, I knew better than to expect realism from a Coralie Fargeat movie. (Which I do mean in a good way)
Besides I fear that making it too gritty and realistic would've taken the fun out of the movie and made it almost unbearable to watch.
And speaking of 'The Substance', 'Revenge' is a brutal and unrelenting movie that takes female empowering themes in a way that isn't preachy or insulting to the audience.
Coralie Fargeat knows very well how to do a feminist horror movie, and I'm glad she's gotten the attention she deserves now, I can't wait to get more from her in the future.
