This has got to be one of the worst horror movies I've seen in years. Reading these reviews I can't believe I watched the same movie. Are the people who are reviewing this teenagers? Bots? Hired marketing people? I don't know what's behind the hype machine on this one, but it's a hard pass.
The acting is very sub-par but even worse is the plot, and many plot holes in this film. Absolutely terrible script. Nothing is plausibly explained and the setup is ridiculous. All of the "why didn't you just (do x)" horror tropes and sterotypes are here. You can tell that they probably wanted better A-list actors but had to settle for what they got.
Ending is terribly cringe as well.

Probably one of the greatest Black Mirror episodes out there. Best of the bunch of Season 7 and they are ALL great episodes!
The person playing the tech CEO absolutely nails the role and practically steals the show, but there are also fantastic jobs done by every single actor involved. Absolute "BRAVO" to the cast, the writers, the director, the cinemetographer and everyone else, the special effects are great and all of the characters are too.
What a treat to have this show around in this timeline and I can only hope the next season matches the outstanding writing and deep creative process this episode encapsulates.

What a magically brilliant, expertly written and amazingly animated show. Like the vast majority of viewers, I can't heap enough praise on a show that I didn't know how they'd wrap up and stick the landing. They sure did. They also set the standard in how shows like this do it right, with damn near perfect everything.
I had never played the game and frankly you don't need to in order to get sucked in to the majesty and brilliance of this show. Whenever one of my friends say they've never heard of this, I become an immediate member of the "street team" and do everything in my power to get them to watch. It's a master class in just about every aspect of what makes a show an instant classic.
