This is not for those who want fast action thrillers but if you want to see a good police procedural (Japanese Style) with twists and turns along the way this is a good watch. The story starts in 2006 and we then catch up with the main characters 15 years later when their lives have become very different. There are plenty of red herrings along the way to keep you guessing about who did what. The only character who felt a bit out of place was Mr Goto. It was well acted and you empathize with the goals of the FL who wants to help her brother and the ML who struggles to protect the FL while still staying true to his profession. Well worth a watch in my opinion.
This series is beautifully lit and well acted. It begins when 2 brothers find an unknown child on their doorstep. Since the younger brother has an autism spectrum disorder this leads to extra stress when they decide to look after the boy. Trying to find out more about the boy and the adventures they come up against take up most of this series. Sometimes I got a bit lost in the storyline but the child was so sweet and the acting was good. This is a feel good storywith some violence in the middle but well worth watching. Under way through all the adventures that they go through the three main characters develop.
This has an intricate plot with the goodies trying to outwit the baddies. It is mostly fun with the honest parole officers trying to outwit the corrupt big businessmen who are trying to escape their misdeeds. Along the way some unexpected alliances are made. Baek Ji Won has a great role. The plot is quite complex so you need to keep your wits about you and sometimes it seemed that plotlines had been cut. There is quite a lot of violence and towards the end I felt that the plot was a bit over the top (ok I know we're not looking for realism here) but overall entertaining if you can stand the violence.
