Adolescence is easily the best thing to hit television in over a decade. This four-part series is nothing short of a cinematic marvel. The decision to film each episode in a single take is mind-blowing, creating an immersive and raw experience that feels utterly real.
The cinematography is breathtaking-every shot is meticulously crafted, making you feel like you're right there with the characters. The storytelling is both powerful and deeply emotional, exploring the highs and lows of youth in a way that feels authentic and profound. The cast delivers performances that are nothing short of extraordinary, bringing the narrative to life with raw intensity.
This series is as good as television can get. It's bold, innovative, and unforgettable. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates masterful storytelling and filmmaking at its peak.

We started this movie thinking the story sounded quite good. The film started and we thought the foootage was a little amateur but on purpose as part of the plot and they it would somehow spring in to a movie quality? Wow no I was so distracted by the in and out of focus and shaky camera work that I didn't even catch the dialogue of the first 5 minutes. We lasted only 10 mins in before we hit the red button and sent it to trash. I can't believe that this is on Amazon. I've personally shot bette footage on my
iPhone and gimble. Would love to know what was spent on this film as it's probably hardly anything and it shows. Sorry not for me. Wow What a waste of my 10 minutes.
The acting, plot, and story are all horrendous. The best of this so called drama was the location. The acting skills from these lead seasoned actors was absolutely substandard. There is nothing positive at all I can say about this what so ever. Save your the frustration of watching this as you will regret watching it. I'm finding it hard to think of 600 words needed To Leave a review. The husbands acting skills don't get any more wooden. The plot was just woefully lacking in any form of realism. Avoid this 4 parter as it's just a total waste of time. Just can't believe it was commissioned in the first place.
