I have been told I am a person who finds meaning in things others don't. I am not sure if that is why I like this movie a lot more than others.
First off it's a movie you can enjoy with most ages. It has something for everyone. It has action, comedy, and feel good moments. It's also not as predictable as I thought. I watch alot of movies and can tell what's going to happen most of the time. Sure the ending may be predictable but a lot of the scenes within the movie were clever.
I love Chris Pratt even if he is like the Rock and Ryan R. Where they basically play the same person with a different name. But in this movie it works, because that guy is the Chris Pratt type. Millie did great! I love how her acting seems like something she'd really be doing. (I just hope she stops all the surgeries babe you're beautiful!!)
As far as the plot. I'm just gonna say...it reminds me of the past 5 years. The ending says so much! There are real people out there and we need to connect with them. Some people can't find comfort in screens and need real connection.

I was skeptical going into this because I really could not stand the over acting of the pregnant cop!!!!!! But....when you watch all of it, they really wrap it up for you. It's a sad sad sweet sad story. The writing is...not what I am used to, I am not well versed in Thai shows, so I won't speak on that. The best actor IMO was Fah'd father! 10 out of 10 for his short rope!

I didn't read the books so this is from the perspective of a person who has only watched the show.
I thought it was a great watch! I like shows that bring out feelings deep inside and as a woman this show spoke to me in a lot of ways. I'm not a witch so I can't relate to any of that lol, but I really loved how they told the story. I thought the pacing was great. I also wasn't one of those shows that asked a question but never answered it.
Of course season one ends on a cliffhanger but there weren't any unanswered questions. We know all we needed to know for now and I am ready to learn more about Rowan and her future!
I really hope they don't cancel this show! I don't have to have to read a book. I'm not a book person.
