  • When epics mix up with sci fi

Happy to have these kind of attempts in our country. It was just a Telugu movie but turned out as an Indian movie.

Concept: It is brilliant to mix the epic and sci-fi idea. We see a lot of Hollywood movies and that may be usual for us but the usual regional audience will feel wowww. I really admire the sync of Ashwathama as I have also heard the secret passage in Kashi with shiv lingam and a news about 12ft old man visiting a hospital at Gujarat. Why not the director to have such a thought having Ashwathama alive after 850 years from now!!!!

Making: It is top notch as there are no flaws in the computer graphics and also the technology shown does have a logic and bit of detailing reasons. Deserves an award specially for the post apocalyptic world and the Kashi Complex and the other people's den.

Screenplay: Lot of detailing done to each character and it literally consume more time in the 1st half and that is more required. 2K kids may feel bored to see such a slow play but I don't mind being slow to see the efforts the team has put in. 2nd half makes the movie clear to follow Amitabh Bachchan to get the story correct. First half was like we try to see the story from Prabhas point and that was no way connecting to the main plot.

Music: Santhosh Narayanan actually got a jackpot and feel he could have done better. His BGM is good and the songs could be different, so it reaches all audience.

Art work, Stunys and costumes: Art work of the post apocalypse world is excellent and equal to Hollywood levels. The wealthy region could be shown more better as the technology available in 2898 may have more improvements and that idea is no where visible. The weapons are cool ranging like the star wars. Stunts initially have tested the patience as Prabhas was able to deal one at a time and gives more details on his abilities. Good that same abilities were followed till the end.

Cast and Directon: Lot to name but Amitabh Bachchan steals the show and the hero of this part. His performance as a 6000 year old person is superb and geling to the graphics. He is a true legend in acting.

Prabhas is the villain actually and his performance is good compared to his Saaho and Radhe Shyam. He shows a funny side always and ambitious powerful person. His role was lesser and happy he allows that giving way to the script.

Deepika Padukone proves she can do a victim role great and with no grand costume and make up, she has given a great character output and stays in everyone mind. Her skill levels at best.

Shobana and Pasupathy playing a hard role in managing people and stunts sometime doing their job best as always.

Disha patani is just a glam doll to come for a song and wipes away.

Kamal Haasan another legend gets a great opening and an ending where his face have very very less visibility and his voice modulation gives the vibe worth being the villain.

Saswatha plays the villain on field all the movie and I m seeing his best... Anna Ben, Malvika Nair comes for a short time but stays in the mind doing good with their performance.

Keerthi Suresh voice for the AI Bot is good and enjoyable.

Other cameos of Bharmanandham, Dulquer, Mrunal Thakur, Vijay Devarakonda are somehow useful for the story.

The cameos of Ram Gopal Varma, SS Rajamouli are useless and just fillers.

Director really had a vision and brought me into his world and the story really worked for me. The interval plot was ok but the climax cut was excellent and eager for the final cut.

  • Slow burn poem

Rasavathi means alchemist who can be expert with chemicals but this does not fully go with the story. No harm but the movie is very good in other means.

There are just 3 main characters in the story Hero, heroine and villain.

The villain character is very well and neatly designed from the scene 1. His character arc was shown with his life problems and his actions to solve his problems. Also his mannerisms during his mental health changes is also clearly shown and lot of symbolic representations are excellent in story making.

The heroine character was very simple and her flashback was also shown in just 5 mins which was super excellent.

Hero character plays the next vital role as his character arc was tried to be delivered in very much detail. Starting from his lifestyle and his mannerisms are very much nice. His capacity to his profession and his knowledge on medicines are neatly placed on the story. Hero's flashback is very depthful and more of his skills are shown there and in that 30 min story, I felt like why the hell is this much detailing shown. Truly that could have been trimmed and it might be bore for a lot and definitely deviating from the present plot. Once we know the hero flashback does mean good relation to the present plot, mindset of audience may change to get involved.

Other noticable characters like the psychiatrist Ramya and SI character by Sundar also gel with the story when required. Music is a real good addition to the movie. There are 2 songs and one long musical scene of hero's flashback which was great.

Director Shantakumar presented this in a very critical story telling manner where this could have either been a very dark movie from the start. Out of his 3 movies, this is my personal favourite. If the director is ready to give us these range of similar movies, I am very much ready to visit the theatres....

  • Cringes of Godavari

Very poor movie. Before release there was a stage controversy from actor Balakrishna who pushed Anjali and that could have been a promotion to the movie. The trailer and director may claim this as a gangster movie but really is it'??

The 2 stars is for Yuvan Shankar Raja BGM as it was ultimate. Vishwak Sen is very new to me and I see him first and his appearance is good for a gangster movie. Heroines Anjali and Neha appears in many scenes and both are there to accompany vishwak Sen on screen. Villains are many and ultimately there to lose to the hero. No villain made an impactful performance.

There are absolutely no logic in the movie and the story is not through a point at all. All scenes are happening like a set of individual plot points and their combination doesn't look like a movie at all. There is no emotional factors to feel into the movie as everyone is a negative character and literally I watched like a stone.

I understand that KGF and Pushpa has inspired the audience and after those 2 all the directors think to give something like that and only end up garbage....
