Hulu is once again glorifying garbage human beings who are living in a way that is completely bringing down our society. The content is baseless and the strange opening scene tries to elevate the look of people who have broken their families and ruined their children's lives. I don't want to see this type of ennobling and backwards perspectives on people who shouldn't even have a show. Everything in this "reality" show is through a warped looking glass from people living in a bubble of their own making and then acting as if someone put them there against their will. This show and others like it are a cancer. Cancel Hulu. I am.
In a day and age where we should be evolved enough to know that being a Muslim doesn't make you a terrorist and that the divinchi code is fantasy, it is truly deplorable that a series like this can have the legs that it does. The research for the book was bad enough but the series acts as a true story, though it's riddled with inconsistencies to the actual history behind it, which is that the man involved was deranged and actual working against the Mormon church. It is extremely bigoted toward a religion that in no way practices what this show portrays. I used to be an Andrew Garfield fan but he shows how one note and grasping he is in this role. Disappointing.
