  • Probably a decent book

Yet another production entirely controlled by incompetents, and it reflects on every aspect of this.

I read somewhere that they changed the prize amount to $50,000 from $67,000 to make it believable.. as if there's some critical distance between the two.

Apparently that's the sum of their mental efforts, because clearly each and every one of these geniuses failed to notice that the cost of the spectacular fireworks display, put on by the game runners, was comparatively ludicrous.

If only I could get myself to read books, I wouldn't have to suffer the cavalcade of stupifying garbage produced by our rotten industry.

  • So.. Gross is the new horror?

I didn't expect much from this movie, just more of the same would have been enough.

Apparently that's too much to ask?

Disjointed timeline, flashbacks/asides?, horrible muzak/chanting or whatever that painful noise was. The complete lack of cohesion was also a source of some pain.

Yet more pain, it seems that instead of making zombies scarier, they just make them repulsive. Ok, it's a way to go, not a good one, and really, really overdone. Also stupid. How is a zombie going to have the mental capacity to suck down worms like a fat noodle? I don't know, but we apparently need 2 minutes with of extreme close ups of an obese zombo doing it.

But hey, if you want to never see any more penis as long as you live, then this movie will get you there. The extremely gratuitous amount of dirty zombie wang flapping about - with central camera focus - is truly senseless.

    Who makes this crap?

  • Creativity is Extinct

The first season was quite decent, but it was made from old stories.

The second season is just a medley of blatant ripoffs from classics, done too lazily to even hide it. Or maybe these posers weren't even cognizant that the theft should be obfuscated.

It's standard procedure these days it seems. There's zero creativity now, these "professionals" exclusively just recycle the old work of talented, principled people, from the before time when such a thing existed. Now we're a species of largely morally bankrupt posers feigning righteousness and taste - oblivious to the sick irony of it all.

The funniest part? The sheer ineptitude of this weak plagiarism actually manages to display a glaring aspect of the dark future that has become our present reality.

I wish I could hold out even a little hope the meta way this presents itself was not a total fluke, but rather pure genius, like also used to be a thing. Alas, I cannot.

*Update: The third season is surprisingly not bad, mostly. The fourth is definitely the worst - for now.
