This film is a beautiful, well-paced heartfelt story which really lingers. The acting is really top-tier and more than anything the editing is absolutely brilliant. The scenes from the fighter jets are really refreshing, compared to similar shots in other films. The portrayal of women feels very genuine and relatable which adds to the depth of the film. I am currently trying to find places that will screen it so I can show my friends and family. The other review here honestly seems to lack understanding of how a story develops dramaturgically, so you should definitely give this film a chance. You will not regret it. Absolutely amazing film!
Watching the trailer made me think I had the movie figured out but I was so wrong! It is like someone else put it, a slow burn, but that build-up makes the movie even better. The music is used brilliantly, I was at the edge of my seat for the entire movie. I relate to the characters, they're human which makes the movie even scarier. I usually dislike horror movies in general because they're so cliché and there's not really a twist to any of them. But this is a masterpiece and you won't regret choosing this movie to watch.
It does stay with you afterwards and even though it's been 2 days, I still think about it. Not necessarily because it was scary, but rather that some scenes were so heart-wrenching that they made a big impact on me.
I strongly recommend this movie!
