Oh man, I didn't expect this from the penultimate episode. This has been one of the most nothing episode from the entire series. I really want to pick some good points from this one, atleast from Joel-Ellie relationship but this was seriously not good. The only positive thing was Joel telling Ellie the truth. Other than that, we didn't see any further progress in this one. Also the dynamics of Ellie & Joel made me upset. I haven't played the game but the connection I felt with their relationship in season one was beautiful and now it has just become bizarre. Joel has been very protective and Ellie just being childish and not getting Joel's point. And Bella's action is so great, she is doing a worst job than season. There is also so much filler stuff, I think they did this because they don't have enough material. Well to sum things up, this one was seriously not good, but anyways looking for the finale.
Another week, another mediocre episode. The show has lost its soul after Joel's death and it's just getting bad from here. Male characters are not being used properly and two teenage girls think that they are enough on their own, stop this nonsense. The start of this episode felt like a filler and the ending was rushed. Bella is giving the same reactions every time and in every situation. Her and Isabela are not giving the vibes. It has become more like a teenage drama than a survival show. Joel added seriousness and intensity in the show and after him gone, feels like nothing is hitting, even the tense situations are hitting. Overall, another weak episode, and show is losing its heart.
Oh boy, where do i start, this episode was just too much. I am reviewing it late because I needed time to digest what I just watched. I have watched great action sequences, great fight sequences, but this was on A WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL. This episode just kicks from the very first second and when you finish it, you go numb for a bit. Conquest, the GREATEST VILTRUMITE against Mark, a guy who has to save the planet he loves very much and one would love very much to destroy it, and savour every tiny fraction of a second doing it, and there are NO HOLD BACKS. I recommend you to watch this even if you haven't watched this series. I also have no complaints with the animation, It was great. Everything about this episode is LEGENDARY. GO WATCH IT NOW.
