  • This is aimed at me and i like it

I'm definitely the target audience for this as an elder millennial that likes hot indie boys with floppy hair, oh and Megan Stalter being Hacks level extra, in a good way. Everyone was so delicious. I did not know who Wil Sharpe was and now i want him on every menu please.

I love the writing, the dialogue is so sharp it captures so many things perfectly about UK life, about love and breakups, complexity of family and healing your inner child.

Love all the cameos. And loved that Lena was in this too I never watched "Girls" but I'm aware of cultural impact.

So broadly, if you are looking for something to cleanse you after watching "And just like that..." Then this is it , its is phenomenal. I very much got this, i felt this, I'm glad it got made.

  • A joyful romp that keeps you entertained

Jack Black was the right amount of Jack Black , Jason Momoa didn't need to act just look cool which suits his abilities.

Great outfits all round . Great graphics.

Lots of joyful claps from the audience which was primarily preteen boys and girls! Lovely unproblematic movie they could all have a shared experience in.

The women could have been a bit more fleshed out, i like that they were there but I feel like the movie missed its strong Alex character that it teased right at the very very end. What was up with the head mistress? Talk about traumatising. Plus. The 80s called and the Dead mom trope has been, done to death. Pun intended.

Just the right amount of storyline that held our attention. The singing was weird but I'm not mad at that chicken song.

    I want Sizzzzzzzerling chicken.

  • Really good entertainment, why the hate?

Just makes zero sense to me, i didn't enjoy the kenobi or boba fett series but this one had everything!! Great solid mystery storyline, cute tiny droids, badass ladies, delicious well fleshed out bad guy who was nuanced and complicated (and easy on the eye.) The fight scenes weren't boring, the body count was higher than it normally is. Zero cookie cutter cliches. Look i didn't rate Sol's acting as much as everyone else, but it was passable. Carrie Anne Moss was a class act as usual.

There were some scenes were it looked like the CGI budget was suddenly switched off but otherwise landscapes were sweeping and believable in the universe.

Really don't understand the ratings and i will miss the follow up.
