Screenlife type of movies are not bad, however...this movie is real bad. I admit there's good editing and I can save Devon Bostick's and (maybe) Eva Longoria's acting...but Ice Cube and the rest of the cast's acting...I just couldn't. Terribly disappointed with the direction and script. But mostly Acting. So you better not watch this ever.
"Searching" and "Missing" are good movies you can watch following screenlife genre without letting this movie velieve of type of movies likes this one could be that horrendous.

The truth is that no one expected this second part to be released, but they did and somehow it worked amazingly. It is cheesy and corney, and we are talking about a vertical shorts App, so it is not this mega production, but they continue the story in a great comeback, respected the characters background and we saw Wyatt and Lucas' love flourishing. I am so happy for these two characters and waiting now for the third part to be happening. I haven't been this happy while watching the drama. I'm also happy for the comeback of actors reprising their old roles. Watch both parts and judge for yourself.
I do not feel like it's the best movie ever, but I like the way they played the game. I recognize it, and award 'em for it.
I think it's clever to change the POV directly to the killer. We ignore the dialogues of the others (unless they share their moments) and just focus on his killings. We don't stress on their bad decisions, we won't focus on the 'why is he killing?', Everything on the 'good guys' is happening but we don't care, and this focus really let us be happy for the killer. I mean, technically it wasn't his fault.
It is a gore film, not a big fan of it, but let it slide because I actually enjoyed the slashing moments. And some of the characters made it easy for me to hate them.
So yeah, maybe there were others before, like Friday the 13th, who played with this formula, but this was pretty different and I'm happy creators are thinking on giving us something not yet made, and it worked. Congrats, you should watch this.
