Class is definitely a great remake. Such a heartbreaking performance by Piyush and Anjali!
The realities of homophobia, religious rooted homophobia, blatant and subtle islamophobia (especially by the principal), caste discrimination and class discrimination are all handled with maturity!
The greatest challenge while uprooting a story of class discrimination from the west to Indian society is the placement of additional complication of caste which stands even more fundamental to any other social evil. The series creators aced it!
The making and writing especially the dialogues compensates for some flaws in the story. Really happy that this adaptation was made!! Also expecting a lot of review bombing attempts, as it showcases themes mainstream movies and series just sweeps under the rug!

BCS always had two seemingly parallel worlds, the world of crime with the cartel and the world of law, which occasionally intersects through Jimmy's relationship between Mike, Nacho and Lalo. This episode marks the most disastrous consequence of that collision of worlds. This episode is probably the best till date and is masterclass in tension building, dialogues and direction. This lays the foundation for absolute chaos in the next few episodes as there's no telling where things are gonna go!
