This is true Australian cinema. A deep and accurate look into the lives of the average aussie, and informative too, this film was a cited source for my highschool geography paper. I find myself quoting this film weekly, it made a lasting impression on me and is still an absolute joy to put on and watch with the family. I would also like to mention possibly the best part, it is available to watch for free on youtube. In this day and age where copyright ruins everything, this film serves as a beacon of hope for us pirates. Watching it now is so surreal, a true testament to how the ecosystems will improvise, adapt, and overcome all that we throw at it.

It truly feels like you're there as he tells his life story, watching this after his death feels so surreal. This is incredibly heart wrenching and moving, I can't help but cry for this poor man, he did all he could. Gorbachev is a truly inspirational figure for me, and seeing this was an amazing experience, getting up-close and personal with this incredible man. In a way, this film is kind of awkward to watch because of how intimate it is, watching him articulate his heartbreak is in no way easy to watch. That's the only negative aspect I can think of when it comes to watching this, but it in no way hinders the quality of the movie.

I created an account just to review this. I am convinced that I died pressing play on this movie and the whole thing was the hell that awaited me in the afterlife. I have no clue why some people painfully subject themselves to this. This movie has a non-sensical plot, boring characters and absolutely horrendous visuals. I'm convinced that 70% of the budget was on Sean Connery, 1% for the animation and 29% crack for the production team. 0/10 would not recommend.
