There wasn't actually a season seven of Emergency!. The series was cancelled at the end of season six, but to fulfill the contracts of the main players there were several Emergency! Movies done in two parts over two nights over a period of a year and a half from January 1978 to June 1979. This was one of them.
A rich woman and her paramour are having a spat in what turns out to be a terrible place for an argument - the cockpit of a plane. As a result, that plane collides with another. Both planes crash not far from where Gage and DeSoto are helping a little girl who was hit in the head at a baseball game but is just now showing symptoms. Complications ensue.
The first hour is just filler and it plays much like a 70s soap opera. The last hour is the rescue portion and it is that portion that will be of most interest to Emergency fans. Do realize that Gage and DeSoto are in short supply here. They are not the center of attention.
