One of the finest films I've seen in the 21st century. A stunner of a film that shouldn't have been a flop at the box office. Well, honestly the audience sucks and anyone who haven't seen this film shouldn't call himself/herself as a cinephile.
Martin Scorsese, you beauty, take a bow legend. According to me, arguably the greatest filmmaker of the United States's history.
Everything in the film is magic to watch and I've no idea why such a brilliant film couldn't make the box office ring at the box office.
I'm disappointed that the movie flopped and it deserved more than just the five Oscars it won.
Love the film. Everyone should watch it at least once.

Jagga Jasoos is a delightful cinematic experience that defies easy categorization. It's a blend of mystery, comedy, adventure, and musical that leaves a lasting impression. The film, directed by Anurag Basu, is a whimsical journey that invites the audience to embrace its quirky charm.
At its core, Jagga Jasoos is a coming-of-age story wrapped in a mystery. The titular character, played by Ranbir Kapoor, is a quirky, young detective with a speech impediment. His world is filled with rhymes and riddles, making him a unique and endearing protagonist. Katrina Kaif as Shruti, Jagga's childhood friend turned investigative partner, adds a perfect counterbalance to his eccentricities. Their on-screen chemistry is palpable and forms the heart of the film.
One of the film's greatest strengths lies in its visual style. The vibrant colors, quirky set designs, and imaginative cinematography create a world that is both familiar and fantastical. The film's locations, be it the bustling city streets or the serene island landscapes, are captured beautifully, enhancing the overall viewing experience.
The music plays a pivotal role in the film. The songs are catchy and complement the narrative effectively. The film's musical numbers are not just mere distractions but integral parts of the storytelling process. They add depth and emotion to the characters and elevate the overall tone of the film.
While the plot may seem unconventional, it is filled with unexpected twists and turns that keep the audience engaged. The film's pace is leisurely, allowing the characters and their world to unfold gradually. This deliberate storytelling approach might not appeal to everyone, but for those who appreciate a slower burn, Jagga Jasoos is a rewarding experience.
The performances by the lead actors are commendable. Ranbir Kapoor delivers a career-best performance as Jagga. His portrayal of a character with a speech impediment is nuanced and endearing. Katrina Kaif shines as Shruti, bringing a refreshing energy to the screen. The supporting cast also delivers solid performances, adding depth to the narrative.
Jagga Jasoos is a film that celebrates individuality and the power of imagination. It's a visual and auditory treat that stays with you long after the credits roll. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, for those who appreciate offbeat storytelling and quirky characters, this film is a must-watch.
In a cinematic landscape dominated by formulaic films, Jagga Jasoos stands out as a breath of fresh air. It's a film that encourages you to embrace your inner child and let your imagination run wild.
