The cinematography was pretty decent. Unfortunately, it does not make up for bad characters, a painfully boring pace and a constant series of bad decisions. They let their petty family drama be more of a problem than being eaten alive. You will root for the zombies before you are one third into the movie, their acting was better than the main actors. The whole family is either whiney or annoying or both. Considering that these zombies are attracted to sound and light, you wonder why these clowns are always yelling or playing music or leaving the lights on every night. This movie is at least one hour too long and that is the true horror in all of this.
