Man I couldnt believe that something could become such a trainwreck! I actually thought like ok people seem to be really trying with some aspects of building out this festival properly, but there was just too much waste and inexperience to really execute it properly. Maybe there were external factors that came into play as well, but that also could have been easily prevented with a little more research of the area and their ability to deliver their promises to that area. Classic sales pitch homerun followed by disappointment. Lot of people got scammed on this one - lesson to learn. Luckily I dont have that kind of money to even worry about being in such a situation.

I think the show has room to grow if they continue to refine processes of what worked and did not work so well. The voting people off thing would pretty hard to watch, especially when some people who really were doing everything right just get teamed up on by others with no game, or who didnt care about sabotaging others, or even themselves. Its always hard to be happy when a key player in a theme for a show is just wiped out, so I think building more safeguards into future seasons where they have more control over their own fate, or at least can save themselves from people teaming up against them would be helpful. What I really enjoyed was the kinds of contestants, which were just randos with no mountaneering experience. That was a great take, and I think the show can build upon that with just a few simple tweaks to really make this thing shine.
