QUIZarenaLIVE meets 1980s action movies in this special event.
Right from the beginning, the feel of the 80s took hold, with new easter eggs added to the opening credits. The opening credits are already filled with countless easter eggs, but these new ones were specifically themed for show.
The introductions were solid with Richard channeling his inner Rambo and Rhiannon driven to drink by Gizmo's Rambo actions throughout the week.
With a loaded spin wheel, the 80s nostalgia was in overkill mode. Three games were selected and even though two of them were specifically themed to match the show's vibes, it can be argued that the first game also had a bit of 80s action involved.
Like all other specials, the final tournament boasted 15 questions instead of the usual 10, and had great inclusion of different films. Yes, there were some well known titles included like Lethal Weapon, RoboCop, and The Terminator, but there were also some more obscure references made like The Punisher, Blue Steel, and Masters of the Universe.
There is really something for everyone in this 80s action special.

Under the Covers is a review orientated show featuring Australian hosts, Richard Lovegrove and Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons.
Sliding into bed together, no topic is off limits when it comes to the discussions surrounding adult entertainment. Breaking down the construct of adult parodies, Richard and Rhiannon often find themselves turning the conversation into an open dialogue about filmmaking in general.
For a raunchy show, they do play it pretty straight when it comes to how they review the films. However, the discourse of conversation and visuals add to the steamy nature of the show. Teamed with the flirtatious relationship between Richard and Rhiannon, you know you're in for a good time the moment you slide Under the Covers.

I don't normally leave reviews for individual episodes, but the musical themed special of QUIZarenaLIVE is something to behold.
It had been teased a few seasons ago after the Disney special that they would do an episode on musicals. It was worth the wait.
Richard Lovegrove kicks of the show with a musical quote, before Rhiannon Elizabeth Irons comes in giving us a brief rendition of You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me from Burlesque. It was a great start to the show and gives the viewers an insight in the years of performing that both of them have done.
The episodes that just feature Richard and Rhiannon are wickedly entertaining. These two are the perfect couple to host any event. They're flirty, fun, and physically gorgeous.
Two new games were introduced - A Chorus Line and Gotta Dance - but only one was played this time around.
The musical references were both modern and of the bygone era of Hollywood. It was great to see Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire on screen in a modern show and spoken about with much love and care.
The final tournament was the perfect combination of classic and modern, with facts I didn't know. Rhiannon likes to test us and this time around, she stepped up and delivered.
When I say this episode is the best I've seen, I mean it. It was fully immersive in the world of musicals. If you're a fan of the genre, you will love QUIZarenaLIVE, the musical special.
