Or maybe I was just reading too deep into it. I just kept finding so many flaws with it. For instance, if they can pump an antidote in there (which takes 8 hours to work) why can't they just put them all to sleep? At least then nobody is going to get hurt.
I couldn't really tell if it was a low budget movie or if that's just what movies were like back then. I assumed with it having Sam Weaving and Steven Yeun starring as main characters, it would be a decent movie. I suppose not all movies are good just because of the casting.
The only thing that kept me interested was the sexual tension between the two main characters. I think maybe that was the most creative way they could keep the movie interesting.

I have to say, even though I already know Ryan Murphy is a brilliant director, I am always blown away by everything of his I watch. He just knows how to take something so tragic and create something beautiful with it.
Matt Bomer (Felix) obviously played is part very well but that isn't much of a surprise. Mark Ruffalo (Ned), however, played the role of Ned so masterfully.
I have seen many tv shows and movies on the AIDS Pandemic over they years and still learn something new every time. These movies are artistic ways to educate others. Its been 43 years and still we don't talk about it enough.
