This show took a while to stick with me. Now, I am loving it. This episode has to be my favorite so far. Funny, good animation, and a wonderful ending.
The crayon-drawn ending reminded me of that one Sussie episode in TAWoG. Nice that they actually used crayon-drawn art instead of AI, which has been happening a lot as of late.

This episode was enjoyable and even wholesome at times. Then it turns gross, as most Richard scenes do. Okay premise, okay execution, but still enjoyable. This episode seemed like it could've been an early episode of Gumball (Season 1 TAWoG) with better animation. Nothing new, yet nothing quite overplayed.
This episode is alright up until the ending. Darwin x Carrie episodes in TAWoG were always nice treats as their relationship was always so wholesome.
Notice that I said "was."
Carrie was a bit of an ass in this episode. They are trying to make her out to be deeper than she used to be.
Now here's the real problem: the ending. In the end, she takes over Gumball's body to kiss Darwin.
WHO WROTE THIS??? Carrie could kiss Darwin in her ghost form in TAWoG, but some writer decided, "Hey, what if we make it so that she uses her boyfriend's BROTHER's body to kiss him?" There is no excuse for this, this is just incest. Someone on this writing team needs their hard drive checked and needs to be fired immediately.
