The tone of this movie will give you whiplash. There are multiple emotional moments that are immediately undercut by a joke.
The twist on who the killer is doesn't make any sense either. A big reveal was prioritized over something that was actually logical.
Unlike the original movie, the kids don't actually do anything wrong that they would need to hide. The whole plot of this film unfolds from this event which doesn't make any sense at all.

Step aside Battlefield Earth, step aside Verotika, Foodfight is here to take the crown.
This film literally has nothing that brings even a sliver of enjoyment. The animation is god awful, even by the standards of the time. PBS and Qubo original shows have had better animation with a fraction of the budget. Was this a money laundering scam?
The editing is terrible, the story frequently skips plot points only to tell you what you missed through exposition. This is pure garbage, it doesn't get any worse than this.
The cast of voices is surprising, yet they can't save this disaster. This movie feels like it was made for marketing purposes for food brands. It's telling that the cover of the film has more brand names listed than actors.
