I was gripped from S1 ep1. This documentary is so eye opening, emotional and extremely sad. As much beauty as some of us have experienced in our lives, it takes docs like this to bring you down to earth with the biggest thud. Family members and friends of these sick and twisted predators being so brave and telling their truth - inspiring! Consuming true crime at the rate I do (I'm no psychopath, mainly curious about how others live) I can honestly say 'Evil lives here' is the best of the best in true crime. Long may it continue and look forward to the next series, like I always do. Rating 10/10.
Born in 74 I was too young to understand the legitimacy of punk. I think this film gave me a strange insight into a bit of it. Sat down to watch the first episode with mere curiosity and booooom the very first tune (not a pistols one) got me very interested in where this was going. I watched intently. After having watched all 6 episodes I had said to myself 'Danny done okay'. Being a born and bred Londoner I spotted some dodgy accents, but all forgiven. The cast were good. Soundtrack amazing. Some scenes unsettling, but I half expected that. Its one of those series that makes you go "okay, thanks for the history lesson".
Being a true-crime fanatic I've seen many Warren Jeff documentary- so, what will I see that I hadn't seen before?
Well......A LOT!
A plethora if new info.
The term "sister-wives" still makes me cringe a bit.
The last episode was, I believe, the reason they had to put an 18 rating on this. Its hard to watch/listen to.
Besides all of my misgivings, I found the documentary informative and a warning to those who are seeking that something that is missing from their loves.
Somethings aren't always what they crack-up to be.
Hope the children affected are okay.
