DI Ray than this - and that's saying something because I LOATHED DI Ray. I'm not a fan of the lead actor in this so I put off watching it, now I know why.
IMBD are making me make the character limit so I'll reiterate....

I've seen The Forsyte Saga (2002-3 version) a couple of times and it was really quite perfect and being that it's a period drama, I'm not sure why they bothered with this one. In the first few shots in the cathedral, I thought it might have even been AI - until I recognised Francesca Annis. It was dreadful - had the narration like Bridgerton and just feels like a copy of that. I won't bother.
I loved the podcast and was so glad SBS finally aired the first two series in Australia.
Danny presents in such a respectful way, and it seems the people who are reliving their hauntings feel comfortable with him.
Having the wonderful Evelyn Hollows to listen to is an added bonus - she has such an interesting way of explaining her theories and I could listen to her all day. Ciaran, on the other hand, and his "theories" always makes me laugh and roll my eyes at the ridiculous lengths his skepticism goes.
My only issue is that there are often really very obvious questions that are never asked - and that can be frustrating.
Can't wait for the third series - even if Ciaran has to be there :/
