  • In my opinion, top 3 games of all time easily, here's my opinion.

I don't understand the negativity in the first episode. This was great. A perfect start. Spoiler free, without mentioning anything from the source material, I kind of like the way they're going making many changes narratively from the game, and I actually can't see where it's going. And casting wise, Dina was beyond perfectly casted, and the others seem alright so far, having seen so little of them. Plus I can already see that from Pedro Pascal's performance in this episode, if he keeps going like this, I don't think there's any chance he can't win an Emmy this year. All the stuff show that we're up for an excellent season once again.

  • 9.3 stars 24hrs after release? WTF?

First of all I don't want any reader to misjudge me, Born Again as far as the first two episodes concerned is nowhere near a bad show. Stood by itself it's actually pretty amazing and promising. But i had many stuff that were really annoying in those episodes. For starters, the soundtrack on its own it's excellent, but they use it wrongly throughout those eps. The direction and cinematography don't help built the same level of dark that the predecessor built, and their quite awkward at times. And last, the dialogue. It's not bad, but it's a lot better than 99% of media that come out today. In conclusion, the shoes Born Again has to fill has been kind off 40% filled till now but if we forget that it is a reborn, those facts do not really matter. But I mostly wanted to write this cause of the ratings. 9.3 really? 8.6 is the rating of the original which is a masterpiece. Ofcourse I expect the ratings to drop to at least 8.4.

  • Why don't people talk more about this masterpiece?

When Detroit:Become Human was released, a friend of mine who was a fan of David Cage's games suggested it to me. And he informed me of his past games so Heavy Rain has stayed at the back of my head for about 6,5 years. But now that I played it I can't guarantee it's a masterpiece in narrative and storytelling. When I came in IMDb and read the plot I was like, ok I need to play this. Little did I know I'd end up becoming obsessed with this game's story. The gameplay treats every moment with importance, the soundtrack captures the feelings the game wants you to feel, and the characters are all compelling. So why a 9? I removed one star due to the fact that I don't get enough "butterfly effect" that I get from other games in this genre like Detroit or any supermassives games project. The ending really only depends on the finals missions each character gets before the climax mission. So the probabilities are very limited. Other than that, perfect game, I definitely believe that like every David Cage game, it is a must for even non gamers.
