First, take everything that was good about Return of the Jedi. Next, take everything that was good about Romancing the Stone. Finally, take everything that was good about Indiana Jones. Throw all of that away, mix up the tripe that remains, and you've got Eliminators.
While the "mandroid" (yes, that's what he's called) is our central protagonist, much of the movie takes place on a river, complete with wacky boat hijinks (and a poorly-aged lesbian stereotype) which basically leaves our cyborg hero to sit and wait.
Instead of R2D2, we get (obviously plastic on a string) Spot. Instead of Obi-wan, we get a kungfu dude hanging out in the middle of a jungle for no apparent reason. And instead of Ewoks, we get.. pygmies.
If this dreck was the only thing on TV, you'd be forgiven for watching it. In this day and age of anything on demand, go watch something else.

Very much a b-movie but certainly not a bad movie.
Watching this, I can see its influences: Clockwork Orange, Time Bandits, Warriors, Rocky Horror Picure Show. Sons of Steel is the only movie from this writer/ director and I sicnicerly hope he's proud of what he made.
While the story could've used some polish, Black Alice carries the movie with just the perfect amount of machismo. It's unapologetically Australian in a way that's simply fun. Don't judge it for the few too many clock cuts, or that time you can see the boom mic, or the "it's a good time to go pee" music videos. This movie's considerate of your bladder like that.
Judge it for its style, set design, humor, pacing, and its very entertaining uniqueness.
Proper movie rating: 7.
B-movie rating: 9.

This was my introduction into the world of David Farmer, and while it doesn't make me want to watch more of his movies, it certainly founds a place in my b-movie, schlock-loving heart.
The titular Debbie doesn't actually "do" any demons, that's handled by the main antagonist who shows up topless and remains so thru the entire movie. Of course, you'll stop noticing that once the story kicks in and people start being kissed into joining the dark side-- a tactic Darth Vader simply never considered.
I can't in good faith give this movie a rating any higher than a 5, but if IMDb allowed for a secondary "bad movie" rating, this would be a solid 8.
