  • The contrast makes the character evolve

I haven't been a fan of Manga since I was a child that enjoyed MAZINGER Z, so took me some time getting used to the rythm, and tone. My 1st positive reaction was a smile for the robotic Cat, which has some tender moments rarely found in Californian productions. In other words, Japanese do know how to make a robotic cat, simpatico. And by Chapter 7, I was completely digging the Japanese Approach to Robots: who else better elaborating on Robotics, in contrast to Hollywood? Btw, it's quite an International team, as the developer Mattson Tomlin is Romanian, who cowrote the 8 chapters with Director Masashi Kudô. And among the producers the USA and Israel are present. Expect a very sober editing by Akari Saitô, just once I thought WTF: with an abrupt cut of a Misaki moment.

Sure, it took longer for me settling because TERMINATOR needs the Arnold and Cameron attached, the kick ass Brad Fiedel main theme, and the American Way of Sci-fi Action. But after finishing experimenting TERMINATOR ZERO, I believe the original appeal to Cameron/Hollywood's creation, will even evolve, as you find out what happens when other cultures give their take on the matter. Find out what will you go missing, and what will be a fresh take never seen before under Hollywood's standard rule book: g.e. The extreme violence going on in this Manga can blush any Live Action Violence from the West, the profound philosophical conversation between Malcolm and his Creations goes one step further programming mature material, via Cartoons? The cliffhanger at the end promises this is just the beginning of a -let's hope-, long exploration of the most admired Robot creature in Film History. I doubt anyone watches Terminator to feel fear: befriend your enemy! Lol. Afterall Judgement Day includes every corner in the Planet, so by taking some heat off Skynet as it "shares the mic" with Japan the chance to either "terminate" once for all the War between Humans and their Creations, or making the fire bigger, before some other World team takes over the "War effort vs. Machines".

  • Brand new approach to Live Stand Up

Directed by Josh Safdie, it's a brand new approach to Live Stand Up, with the Safdie Brothers aesthetic. LOVE YOU is filled with memorable moments by the Sandman, so get ready to laugh hard, and cry. It's a love poem to Comedy, and to those who have trascended evolving it. LOVE YOU feels very experimental, as the magic occurs between very well scripted "unexpected mishaps". Also the musical moments are filled with love and creativity, do expect a unique guest appearance in one of the Music bits, of a long time Compadre of the Sandman. I watched it some nights ago, and are already considering enjoying it again this weekend: that type of show it is.

  • Made me laugh from the beginning

In those very crucial minutes a comedy has to break the ice, STOLEN VACATION did it for me with the telephone bit with the recorded laughter going on in the back. From then on I enjoyed the commited Acting by Ana Claudia Talancón, Bruno Bichir, and the supporting cast. I thought setting the film back in 2001, was a great choice. I think it's healthy to go back to Amlo's programmer in the background (Desafuero), V. Fox with his "Hoy, hoy" attitude, now that even its creators cannot define what does Transformation mean.

Without being the comedy's topic, I appreciate Diego Graue brought us back to what type of Mexicans we were then, and nail it. Before the polarizing effort by AMLO's programmers.
