  • Sorry but,

The name of this movie should have been different because it simply doesn't match the legacy of Gladiator. The first film was an iconic masterpiece, a timeless story filled with depth, emotion, and unforgettable performances. It set a high standard that this new movie doesn't come close to meeting. Associating it with the original feels unfair, almost disrespectful to what Gladiator represented. By using the same name or tying it to the original, they created expectations that the film failed to deliver.

While the movie is watchable in its own right, it lacks the soul, gravitas, and cinematic brilliance of its predecessor. The story feels weaker, the characters less compelling, and the emotional weight that made Gladiator so memorable is missing. The original wasn't just a movie-it was an experience, one that stayed with audiences long after the credits rolled. It had universal themes like honor, revenge, and legacy, executed in a way that resonated with viewers on a deep level. In contrast, this new film feels like just another movie, with nothing that truly sets it apart.

The decision to market this as a follow-up or associate it with Gladiator was likely made to draw in fans of the original. Unfortunately, this only served to highlight its shortcomings. A different title and some creative distance from the original could have allowed audiences to view it as its own story rather than a disappointing comparison. As it stands, calling this Gladiator 2 does a disservice to both films-the original because it diminishes its unique brilliance, and the new movie because it places expectations it simply cannot meet.

Gladiator remains a timeless classic, a film that can be revisited anytime and still feel as impactful as the first viewing. Its storytelling, performances, and direction were unparalleled, earning its place as one of the greatest films in cinematic history. This new movie, while entertaining enough for a single watch, lacks the qualities that make a movie truly timeless. It's enjoyable in a casual sense, but it doesn't deserve the weight of the Gladiator name. Instead, it should have been allowed to stand alone, free from the shadow of one of cinema's greatest achievements.

  • Just wow

Kizil Goncalar is an incredibly well made and touching series that brings writers 's life story to the screen. The storyline beautifully explores his struggles, love for people, and dedication to justice while incorporating elements of philosophy and spirituality. It also portrays the fight against both conservative and radical ideologies, making it one of the best Turkish shows I have watched seen. Some scenes are so moving and real that I watched them twice,a truly heartfelt experience.

This is a must-watch series that requires deep concentration to fully appreciate its depth. I enjoyed every bit of it, from the powerful storytelling to the rich themes of love, philosophy, and social justice.
