I went into the theatre expecting a lot of gore and honestly I felt like there was more action in the trailer. It is not a bad film and I'm sure a lot of people will like it. It was simply just not for me. Some scenes felt so long that I made a couple time checks. It had such little plot to make a hour and forty minute movie out of.
If your looking for slasher this is not your movie. If you are looking for a carried film by one character... bingo you have your film. I'm curious to see where this trilogy will go though. I just wish there was a little more horror... because I feel like this movie lacks identity.

This movie is goofy, wacky, and colorful that many will fine enjoyable if you want some senseless humor, but if you want something more you are coming to see the wrong movie.
The action is alright with some new cool ways how to slaughter someone and so many Thomas the Tank Engine references that honestly made me feel that I should have just watch that. It seemed like they wanted to make a fun movie and have a fun time while doing it. Although the humor is rarely funny and the story is way to complicated for such a senseless film.
Yes, it's not necessarily a bad movie but it sure isn't that good. You will keep a little smirk at times and want to walk out of the theatre at other times
With that being said 5.1/10 stars.

Before you watch this movie you need to remember, this is not on the level as Toy story, Cars, and other high level animated movies but it is on the level of a movie that will have you smiling, crying, and wanting to buy another pet.
Watching the movie I noticed many adult jokes as well, that some older people will get a kick out of. Some parts drag a little bit but with solid segments make up for those areas. This movie was funny. Twice as funny as Thor Love and Thunder.
Technical wise... the animation focuses mostly on the up close image and lacks the background. Almost leaving it as a faded 2D background.
A slow start but is brushed aside with a great emotional finish to the film grants this film 7 Stars.
