I'll admit I haven't seen the entire series but it's on YouTube if you want to watch it. Truthfully, it won't be worth your time. This show sanitizes and strips back everything that makes Glee wacky and funny and replaces it with characters who look and sound like the Glee cast, but have no substance behind them. The entire energy is off and no amount of low budget musical numbers can save it. Sorry Glee Vietnam, feeling a light 2/10 on this one. I can't think of anything else to say to reach the minimum- but Sue was the worst casting out of all of the characters- I guess Jane Lynch is irreplaceable.
KCFH is a show that left me wanting more from its premise. The idea of mixing the style of cheesy family sitcoms with a dark and disturbing drama is a great idea, and throughout the show there are moments where these two styles play off each other in genuinely interesting ways. That being said, most of how the show uses its unique premise is by simply having the two styles not intersect each other and the end result is feeling like you're just watching two separate shows at once. There are a lot of episodes that feel unnecessary and drag the plot along at a sluggish pace while rarely rewarding the viewer with any real payoff. KCFH nicely slots into the "this could have been a good movie" category. It feels like the show makers were too afraid to push the plot past the tipping point. The end result is a show that spends a lot of its time twiddling its thumbs without any meaningful story beats.
On a more positive note, the best thing about KCFH is Annie Murphy's acting performance. She consistently manages to be the best part of every scene she is in and was occasionally the only thing keeping me pushing through. Murphy is the only actor I have praise for, however. Many of the other actors are wooden in their performances and don't express enough emotion to convey the seriousness of the situations they get themselves into, which took me out of the experience.
Overall I left KCFH with a sour taste in my mouth and wishing it had capitalized on its initial concept more. I'm landing on a 4/10 on this one, and I look forward to whatever project Annie Murphy sets out on next.

Murder House is a great short and sweet gem that executes its ideas seamlessly. The titular Murder House is small yet dense with puzzles to solve, doors to unlock, and very good overall horror atmosphere. By the time I'd seen all there was to see in the Murder House I had grown accustomed to the layout and felt a similar comfortability to that of the Spencer Mansion or the Raccoon City Police Department from Resident Evil, which is an inspiration this game wears on its sleeve. Murder House excellently balances it's playtime with clever puzzles, backtracking that never feels overbearing, and loads of nooks and crannies that make it feel like you really are exploring a dilapidated house of horror.
I beat the game in three hours, which is certainly not a bad thing. Horror games are at their worst when they overstay their welcome. Murder House consists of many carefully crafted scares and moments that engage the player and create a very fun and terrifying experience all the way through. I would recommend this game to any classic survival horror fans who are looking to scratch that same itch. Feeling a light to a solid 9/10 on this one.
