  • A timeless film noir detective thriller

I'm one of those who really enjoys the thriller mystery genre like this, and honestly, the tension with each victim escalates gradually, and I thoroughly enjoy the adrenaline rush throughout the film. I felt a sense of fear, and the footage was quite disturbing, but I was satisfied and enjoyed it. I really am.

The actors' performances are undeniably excellent. I felt great sympathy for Tracy, even though she doesn't appear much, and at times I found myself frustrated with David, while also feeling a bit disgusted by Somerset's overly calm demeanor. I was deeply moved by the quality of the actors' performances.

Since this is a '90s film, I can say that the graphics are already quite good and pleasing. Every aspect of the film fits perfectly in its place, and I am completely satisfied.

The story, acting, atmosphere, cinematography, and scoring are all top-notch.

This is the kind of film that I don't have much to critique. It is truly a masterpiece.

  • Thrilling yet underwhelming

I quite enjoyed this movie. Yes, it's a horror film that I liked because the beginning and the buildup of the conflict were so engaging. I enjoyed the rising tension, but here's the issue: when the conflict reached its peak toward the end, I didn't feel the same excitement. It felt awkward and almost lazy, like I was expecting a more explosive ending or resolution.

However, visually, with the scoring, and the actors' performances, everything was very well done. I really liked the depiction of the time period, and I got immersed in each character's role. The scoring was also spot on for me.

I might be a bit biased, but I genuinely loved the setting and the actor, which is why I gave it a fairly high rating. So, I can only say that this movie was quite thrilling and enjoyable!

  • Worth the hype!

I thought this movie was overhyped, and when I first watched it (under less than ideal conditions), I found it boring during the first 30 minutes and decided not to continue.

However, yesterday, I decided to give it another go from the beginning, focusing more on the film, and yes, I was a bit bored-just a little (maybe because I was rewatching it)-but as the movie progressed, I started to get excited and found it completely engaging.

I was eager to see what surprises the next parts would bring, and it made me not want the movie to end. Although there were more dialogues, I didn't feel bored and was even very interested in their conversations. I think I really enjoyed the humor that was present as well.

Definitely a film I'd watch again at another time!
