It was almost like watching Incursion again with all the flashbacks. The movie included nudity and foul language that was not needed. I only got half way through and couldn't stomach it!

The name of the movie was very misleading because it was more about the condition of each individual rather than on "A Encounter with the Messiah", who was barely in the movie. It didn't explain who Jesus is nor why He was on earth. It didn't explain that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. The movie portrays Barabbas as someone who was a nice guy who just stumbles into trouble. The acting was bad. It was on the level of junior high school drama club. They didn't show any evil government like the Roman Empire and its hate for the Jews. Last, it took forever to explain the character's situation.
