I haven't played the Minecraft game, but I have watched the movie and honestly, I kinda wish I hadn't seen it.
It was very childish and predictable which is a buzz killer for me plus the joke they dropped didn't quite land. Menh it was really hard watching this one.
That said, I did enjoy seeing Jason Momoa act, he really let loose in this one, lol. The casting overall was great lots of familiar faces that were fun to see. Still, I expected something a bit more exciting for it being a family movie, the like of Sonic, freeguy was also a great one.
Definitely a movie made more for kids than adults.

Magnus Carlsen did an analysis of the games played in The Queen's Gambit, the game that Townes and Harmon played during the tournament was described as "beautiful" by Magnus.
The Queen's Gambit is adapted from Walter Tevis's novel, which tells the story of a young girl with a tragic past who falls in love with the game of chess. The director captures key moments in the world of chess. The beauty of the game, the pain of defeat, and the mental brutality it demands. This series was beautifully made.
I loved the CGI effect where Beth Harmon sees chess pieces on the ceiling,it was a nice touch. This series is so inspiring,I've been playing chess ever since I even participate in tournaments.
Thank you for this series.
