Don't waste your time with this.
Usually Apple TV+ has amazing content but there's always one thing or two that comes out and it's bad. This movie is one of those.
The acting is OK. The writing is like you asked AI to write you an adventure movie and then asked another AI to rewrite that. The whole thing is badly written, very cliche, no essence. None of the characters is relatable. It's a very subpar attempt to make a movie of the genre.
And everything is so damn predictable, uninteresting and not captivating at all.
It's really a shame because the cast is great and the special FX are not bad.

I guess you can tell by the title already but comparing Silo to Paradise is inevitable.
Paradise is like Silo but for lazy people. In Paradise you're just spoon fed, you don't have to think, everything is revealed quickly but at the same time nothing important is revealed.
Season 1 is like a very long character introduction and it feels like whatever major is gonna happen is gonna happen in season 2.
Silo did a better job with this, it was way more captivating in season 1 and let the character and story development flow throughout the two seasons.
In Paradise we're getting flashbacks trying to establish the previous timeline but they were almost unnecessary because there's no context. The amount of references to the movie "Die Hard" are insanely high, adds nothing to the character development. This is the problem: the writing. The actors are doing a great job but the writing is bad and predictable.
It's a skippable series, I probably won't be returning to watch season 2.
