I just finished watching this and I think it's the best TV programme I've watched. It was funny, cool and clever. The music in it was also really good. When watching the original Life on Mars I felt it dragged on a little bit, but with Ashes to Ashes I don't feel that at all, in fact I'd have been happy if they had a whole new series. I thought the ending was really sad, but it fits really well. I think it's the best thing the BBC's ever put out and I hope they bring something similar in the future, maybe even a sequel series. Even if they don't though, we still have this on iPlayer to watch as many times as we want.
I watched this today and after seeing the reviews I wasn't too optimistic but I actually thought it was ok. The action in the film was pretty exciting, the CGI was good and it actually felt fairly grounded compared to the stuff Marvel has put out the past few years. I'd say it was up to the standard of the stuff they put out in the 2010's, and it's the best film of 2025 so far. I was a bit disappointed that the Red Hulk was only in it for about 10 minutes, because he was on all the posters and in all the trailers so I'd expected him to play a bit of a bigger role in the film, it's not that his story in the film was bad I just wish they hadn't promoted it like he was the main villain instead of some brainy dude with green eyes.
All in all though, I don't think it was a bad film, and I think it was worth the £5 I spent on my cinema ticket.
