I found that there are good ideas in it, but the execution isn't that good. The story is another pseudo-documentary that tells the event of the government trying to weaponize a possessed woman. I do like the whole documentary style of the movie with characters telling the events and their thoughts on it. While the whole weaponize someone has been done before and isn't anything too special, it's interesting how they choose a possessed person. The possession scenes are your usual stuff you see in any supernatural movies out there. There are also a lot of exposition dialogue that are a mixed bag with them rambling about the events and backstories. The movie itself isn't creepy due it using mostly cheap jump scares and mostly happens pretty quickly. And the ending itself is underwhelming. Since this is a pseudo-documentary movie, the characters are either doing interviews or doing the experiments. Most of them are one-dimensional and lack any interesting traits to them. Even Judith plays your typical possessed victim. The acting itself is fine, but nothing too, remember about.
The Atticus Institute isn't a bad movie, but the movie isn't that enjoyable to watch and is poorly executed.

I found this to be an interesting type of movie that I watched. The story itself is interesting, with it being a mystery on the disappearance of people in New York City that have a connection to the sewers. It's built up pretty well with the reveal of the monsters that are causing the disappearance. The explanation is pretty interesting, with them being humans that are mutated by chemical toxic waste due to some shady people. It shows how people are trying to hide the fact that they are reasonable for this mess and trying to cover up. The movie has pretty good suspense when the monsters show up and attack their victims. The movie has a pretty good atmosphere during the scenes in the underground, which gives off an unsettling vibe with these creatures down there. The climax itself is weird on how they did it, but no spoilers. The characters themselves aren't that most developed in the movie, but they are passable characters. I do think the special effects are pretty good in this movie. The creatures look pretty good with them being mutated to people who give off an unsettling appearance to them. I like the details they put onto them with their glowing eyes and deformed looks to them. Although you don't see that much of them.
C. H. U. D is an interesting type of movie that I watched, which is good and worth checking out.
