  • Unique movie that I well made

This is a really well-done movie that I watched and is interesting. The opening gets to the main topic with the seventeen children sudden run away from unknown reasons in a t-pose. It's a weird idea that has that in a horror movie, but it does play into the factor in the movie. The actual plot is the aftermath of the events in which it goes through chapters on each characters perspective and the connection between them. It does a good job of showing people different reactions to it and how they act throughout. Like people not trusting Justine because the kids are in her class, and father trying to find his missing son, and the mystery over the only student who doesn't disappear. While the horror aspects come from the dreams and the climax, they are executed pretty well and contain tension to them. The reveal of the missing children is something that is unique on why they disappeared. Also, it leads to probably the silliest ending that I have seen. People even laugh at it, too, at the theater.

Weapons is an interesting type of movie that is great and memorable to watch.

  • Could have been better

I found that there are good ideas in it, but the execution isn't that good. The story is another pseudo-documentary that tells the event of the government trying to weaponize a possessed woman. I do like the whole documentary style of the movie with characters telling the events and their thoughts on it. While the whole weaponize someone has been done before and isn't anything too special, it's interesting how they choose a possessed person. The possession scenes are your usual stuff you see in any supernatural movies out there. There are also a lot of exposition dialogue that are a mixed bag with them rambling about the events and backstories. The movie itself isn't creepy due it using mostly cheap jump scares and mostly happens pretty quickly. And the ending itself is underwhelming. Since this is a pseudo-documentary movie, the characters are either doing interviews or doing the experiments. Most of them are one-dimensional and lack any interesting traits to them. Even Judith plays your typical possessed victim. The acting itself is fine, but nothing too, remember about.

The Atticus Institute isn't a bad movie, but the movie isn't that enjoyable to watch and is poorly executed.
