Lead, supporting actors, production and graphics team...VERY GOOD!!! I enjoy this series from beginning to end. There are no episodes or scenes that feel unnecessary. The natural chemistry with the cast throughout really feels like you were almost viewing reality TV BTS moments and not plain acting. You can see the tension and gradual growth of the romance budding with the two leads which is even more enjoyable because it does not feel scripted. The funny moments between lead and supporting actors seemed off script, but just right. Love the graphics and OST! Seriously, I hesitated for a while before adding for review. However, I am very glad that I did. It has been a while since I have seen a drama that I don't mind rewatching multiple times.
WELL DONE!
WELL DONE!
The story with its twists seemed to keep its footing until Ep. 21-22. Then it started to feel like "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks". This could have easily been 28-30-episode series. The content would have been tighter, and the editing wouldn't have felt sloppy. By the time you get to the last episodes, you just want it to be over. The resolutions feel rushed where it's more of an OK at the end instead of HOORAY. I wanted to give it a solid 8 or 8.5 by how the first few episodes were going. But due to at least 7 episodes feeling like 'fluff', that could easily be removed with the same outcome, made the story drag and lose its charm. I have to stick with 7.
Oh my! I cannot say enough of the way this story was weaved together. My goodness, I was not ready for the twists and turns. The cast overall A+. Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young truly showed their acting chops and deserve all the praise for the depth and compassion that was brought to the screen. The attention to detail within production and storyline is appreciated. When you watch a Kdrama like this, other series that come up short become easier to spot. I am truly a new fan of Park Seo-joon. The young actor, Moon Woo-jin...what a beautifully talented young man. BRAVO!!! Definitely one to watch as he continues to grow in his craft.
