Even when we are already in the 21st century, I can't believe these writers still think there is gravity in space!!! Come on! Audience are not children anymore and please do not insult out intelligence! The writers could have easily changed the settings to a location somewhere that is believable, rather than sending all these people to space! Further, just having three people in a large spaceship to pilot and maintain it during the trip, they must be back of all trades to be able to fix all the problem! I find the whole story flawed. Such a great waste of Casey Affleck's and Laurence Fishburne's talents.

This movie brings blood and gore to a new level, and not for the fainted heart. First 5 minutes into the movie, the audience is presented with an explosion and flowing blood. It is going good as the story begin establish itself. A quarter way into the movie when actions start with blood spewing all over the place, the movie falters as the characters reactions are unrealistic and unbelievable!

The characters stand around like puppets as if waiting for their ques to react - to fight back or to die, according to the movie script, instead of reacting accordingly to survive. What could have been a great action movie drowned in 2.5 tonnes of messy fake blood.

I really wanted to like the movie, but I really just can't stand dumb characters with low IQ. They are in Savanna, where a dangerous, man-eating lion lurks, yet they are incomprehensible to the sense of danger - leaving the windows and doors opened, and making dumb decisions.

The cinematography is substandard as it failed to capture the majesty of the Savanna. The CGI is fairly decent and that's about the redeeming quality of this movie.

Movies can still be made with intelligent characters and drama can be emphasized without sacrificing the audiences' intelligence and their respect for the writers and director!!!
