The Idyll is a cinematic experience that beautifully connects multiple generations. The film feels intimate and layered, with the characters making artistic and bold choices that continuously captivate.
Hadewych Minis dominates every scene with her expressive performance; her subtle yet powerful expressions keep you engaged. Beppie Melissen continues to surprise with her versatility and nuance, making her presence on screen both moving and compelling.
The direction and visual style contribute to the film's dreamlike atmosphere, seamlessly blending reality and emotion. The Idyll is a poetic and daring film that lingers in your mind long after watching.

Mickey 17 is an impressive and gripping film that keeps you engaged from start to finish. The story is not only original and interesting but also full of surprises. The sci-fi setting is immersive, and the themes of identity and survival are well explored.
Lately, I've been getting annoyed by the trend of movies exceeding the two-hour mark. This film is no exception-especially the lengthy explanation of how Mickey had to complete his tasks. A tighter introduction would have made the film even stronger.
That being said, the acting is fantastic. Robert Pattinson once again proves why he is one of the best actors of his generation. His portrayal of both Mickey 17 and Mickey 18 is layered and distinct, making each character feel truly unique. The rest of the cast also delivers strong performances, adding to the overall quality of the film.
In short, a great and captivating movie with outstanding acting, though it would have benefited from a more concise opening.

Companion is a visually stunning film, with beautifully composed shots that enhance its eerie atmosphere. The cinematography truly elevates the storytelling, making every frame feel intentional and immersive.
One of the film's biggest strengths is how well it executes its narrative choices and sudden shifts. The unexpected turns keep the tension high, and rather than feeling forced, they add to the unsettling nature of the story.
Sophie Thatcher delivers an outstanding performance, bringing depth and complexity to her character. A standout moment is the scene where her character catches fire-without any dialogue, her face conveys pure agony, discomfort, and fear. It's an incredibly powerful piece of acting that solidifies her talent.
Overall, Companion is a well-crafted horror film that excels in both visuals and storytelling. Definitely worth watching.
