I saw this movie in the theatre twice for the Hindi dubbing and the dubbing was great !! It perfectly matched with the voice. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Everything was in the movie ie devotion, action, comedy, family values etc.
The VFX was splendid and brilliantly done. The music was fantastic especially the Hanuman Chalisa, Lord Ram stotram and the sad song sung by Kailash Kher.
The main actor did a fabulous job. His emotions, mannerisms, acting was superb!!
The main actress Amrita. Iyer was looking pretty and acted well. Same thing for the actress who played Hanumanthu's sister !!
Kudos to the director who made a fantasy film about Hanuman !!

The 1990s were bad for Amitabh who had no of flops like Hum, Insaaniyat, Mrityudaata, Lal Baadshah, Hindustan Ki Kasam & Kohraam. Sooryavansham was also included in the flops list. The only few hits he had in the 1990s were Aaj Ka Arjun, Khuda Gawah, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Major Saab.
I watched Sooryavansham multiple times in the past and re-watched yesterday (30th October 2022) on prime video with English subtitles. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline was great. Amitabh Bachchan played the Sr Thakur with brilliance. His thundering baritone voice was outstanding. The son's role should have played by some other.younger actor as Amitabh in the son's role was aged. That was one of the reasons of the movie flopping at the box office.
The music by Anu Malik was good especially the songs Dil Mere To Deewana Hai & Kore Kore Sapne Mein. These 2 songs created.a special place in my hearts.
Soundarya was a misfit for Bachchan junior as she is 30 years younger to Bachchan. Some other actress could have worked better for Bachchan. The supporting cast was average. Only Kader Khan and Anupam Kher was brilliant in the comedy scenes. The lady conductor in the bus scene should have been removed immediately as it was a silly comedy.
The scenes where Amitabh Jr praises his father at the hospital inauguration was amazing. He should have also complimented his wife Radha for encouraging him, her uncle who financially supported him during his early days of struggle, his best friend Anupam Kher who has morally supported him too. All these were not mentioned in the movie.
I am giving 9 for the above small reasons not mentioned in the movie.
