This film is positively the worst film I have ever seen. It looks so lazy. The writing is absolutely horrific and not original. It's safe to say that the person that wrote this film and directed it had absolutely no idea about cinematography or how to tell a story. There's actually no story here. This "film" (film I use lightly) has no characters arc, no plot escalation, no meaning, and absolutely no reason anyone should waste their precious time watching it. It's disappointing to see such a great idea go to waste under incompetent hands. I had high hope going in. But don't waste your time on this. There's too many talented writers/directors for this to be on your list.
This film is honestly extremely clique along with terrible acting. This film is about a spoiled whiny girl that's coming up on her 25th birthday. The character is swallow and unauthentic. There was nothing groundbreaking or educational about this story about mental health. This is not what real depression and mental illness looks like. This film also screams white privileged that's out of touch with the average audience member. It's not relatable at all. The writing was average to say the least with a predictable outcome. I got through it but almost turned on YouTube and zone out halfway through. The film is over a 1 star and my only feeling is MEH.
