A beautiful film about friendship. The themes of friendship, bullying, and forgiveness are beautifully addressed. Impeccable direction, script, and music. Christan Checa is stunning; he's very reminiscent of Tom Holland physically, and his acting skills make it seem as if they went to the same school. If this young talent goes to Hollywood, they won't let him go, and he'd be the next Antonio Banderas or Javier Bardem. Kevin Feige, the Russo Brothers, or James Gunn should keep an eye on him.
A perfect example of how a low-budget, yet high-quality film can be made. It's very different from other films of the genre, and it's surprising. The casting is perfect, and the two lead actors are extremely talented. Despite the limitations of the genre, their acting talent is outstanding.
A must-see if you like this genre and well-made films with good actors.

This film deserves an Oscar nomination for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Editing. The other categories can be forgotten, except for Amy Madigan's performance, which deserves recognition. A terrible cast for a film that surprises and is impossible to categorize into any genre. Horror, mystery, action, comedy, and one surprise after another leading up to a masterful finale. Probably the best film of the year.
