Wow! This is pretty bad. Wooden script/wooden acting/wooden everything! The show reminds you of The White Lotus without having the class or the style.
Also it resembles to the TV soap Revenge - and even that show was brilliant compared to this.
I am trying hard to find something positive to say about this. The only thing that comes to mind is the opening dancing sequence (that takes thirty seconds!)....so there you go. Maybe another thing is that Nicole Kidman plays a good bitch! But knowing Kidman to be a fantastic actress this is probably not even a surprise; mir like a given.
Oh and what is it with Isabel Adjani? Don't get me started...this whole thing is a big mess!

You have all the ingredients we know from Beverly Hills, New York, Salt Lake City and New Jersey...(actually no - not New Jersey - it's not that trashy) But you have the group of gorgeous women with a pretty good financial background, all claiming to be confident women standing on their own two feet. Uhm...okay!?!
Munich, which is one of the richest cities in Germany, with a very superficial high society known throughout Germany, is the perfect setting for this show. And just like we know it from the American franchises these women meet for drinks, dinners, gossip and bitchfights. A little bit more subtle and distinguished than in the US version, yet the digs keep coming.
The show is what it wants to be: a fluffy piece of reality tv without any depth or class )although that's what the women keep mentioning all the time); still entertaining enough to let you forget a crappy day at the office. Not more, but certainly not less!

It would have been nine stars if it wouldn't be for the two super annoying characters of Spider and Tuc in it. These are mostly responsible for the somewhat pathetic and over the top ending. The movie could have been a liiiiiittle shorter, let's say 20 minutes, and that would have made it a total masterpiece! Nevertheless it is of course highly entertaining and visually powerful like nothing else you have ever seen. If you have the chance watch it in 3D. It is visually stunning, it absolutely is. The underwater scenes put you into another world and another level of cinematography. Good to have such a blockbuster back in the theaters after the pandemic...!
