Just watched this movie I'm not sure if the 2006 one is the same cause they look the same but anyways it's pretty much a dos and don'ts guide to partying in LA in the early 2000s with the perfect amount of satire and comedy throughout the movie. Like I said it's suprisingly informative, and mostly has held the test of time. There's some outdated things that are at the same time hilarious but it's a great perspective into the party lifestyle still going on today in LA specifically and I imagine in a lot of the major metropolitan cities around the world. As an avid party goer I can attest this is a great way for anybody who hasn't ever partied before or has little experience in this world, to learn the intricies of going out from bars and clubs to house parties and parties in the hills. It also shows some of the dos and don'ts in recreational drug use such as smoking weed, ecstacy, drinking and cocaine as well as the dangers of said activities, as well as accurate yet funny rules and information about ating and hooking up with people you meet at these events, the type of people you meet at these events and the ones you should avoid. All in all it's a lowkey underground timeless piece of satirical cinema that will continue to stand the test of time and I hope it will become a cult classic.
