Another potentially nice Kdrama spread out over to many episodes.
In episode 9 finally some interesting things start to happen. Up till then not bad but way to slow for me.
Annoying again are the hysterical parents, interfering in the life's of their more than adult children.
Why I stay tuned? Basically it's a nice romcon to watch when you want to relax. I like the korean life style, their food and fashion.
But most of all I really love the acting Jung Hae-in. And his great charm and smile off course 😀 . He is improving his acting more and more, really good to watch.
So now I just fill in the last required words...

Like many Korean series this one also suffers from overstretched drama. The general story could have delivered an entertaining and interesting serie. But the many endless seeming scenes and the hysterical screaming, crying, beating up etc made it often hard to digest for me. As well as the slapstick like scenes that seem to belong in many Korean series. Perhaps its my European point of view that dislikes these parts? Anyhow, I choose a fast forward many times to avoid all of these for me overdone scenes .
A pity because most of the actors are good and basically the storyline was intriguing enough to make me continue watching. But it would have been so much better in 10 or 12 episodes and without the screaming and slapstick.

I stopped after episode 3 so perhaps later on it was as good as many reviews here describe.
Anyhow, it could not keep me awake. No chemistry between the leads. The lead female role and some of the cast were totally over the top. The male lead however did a good job.
I love intrigues politically or otherwise in series but this was all so obvious.
The thought of 13 more episodes did me decide to stop watching.
By the way, there is a lot of good and entertaining K-drama but why almost every time in16 episodes? Way to much and unnecessary. The only time I liked that was in My liberation notes, because it did go well with the slow tv concept.
12 Episodes or so would be much better to keep most series interesting.
