The Grucci family is the kind of tight knit family everyone wishes they could join at their Sunday dinner table. This documentary has a lot of heart and love, while being about an extremely interesting topic - FIREWORKS! Too many documentaries drone on so House of Grucci coming in at under one hour is fantastic. It doesn't get boring, leaves you satisfied yet wanting to know more. I don't do well with blinking strobe light effects so I was slightly concerned about the light sensitivity warning at the beginning. Thankfully it was just fireworks footage and wasn't too much strobey blinking and flashing for me.
The expert from the Science Museum that speaks to the history of fireworks is mesmerizing. She has a great voice and keeps it really interesting. The background music was even on point.
House of Grucci is worth your time. Good job Hulu!
