This movie really held my interest. It was a ttue accounting of the events leading to and during the Yom Kippur war.
Helen Mirren was awesome as Golda. She showed Gilda's true character. How she cared so much about every decision she made. How hard it was for her. How she knew what the impact would be to her country as well as the young men she sent to war.
I was impressed with the way the film showed how Golda handled herself with America and with Henry Kissinger. Relations between the two countries have always been complicated but the USA came through when they were needed.
The actors in the movie were perfect for their roles .
