Dakghor - A story which is simple yet very powerful. The story is unique but on the other hand is very relatable. A simple story but it has a strong message.
The story is about a Post Office in rural West bengal and a Post master who hails from a semi urban place and is posted in this rural place. The series beautifully portrays the journey of the post master, his understanding of rural life, his past life , and how situations lead him to change his whole perspective about Life in total. The series also helps in making the audience understand the importance of messages, postcards, inland letters and brings back the nostalgia which is somewhere forgotten now a days. The other thing which makes the story relatable is the depiction of the small yet important parts of rural life such as unity among villagers, the ease with which they accept a stranger and make him one of them.
This is a must watch and is a great family entertainer. Ditipriya Roy, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Kanchan Mallick have done a great job in making their characters lively and relatable. Ditipriya's command over the diction used is commendable. Suhotra as always has delivered a strong performance and Kanchan Mallik with his superb sense of comic timing makes the whole series enjoyable. Kudos to the whole cast and crew who have put in tremendous effort to deliver this pure bliss.
Overall a great series to binge watch and have a joyous time with your family.
