  • Incredible movie

How anyone cannot like and appreciate this movie is beyond me. It has an incredible background in fact and is a moving tribute to the human spirit. It also strongly shows that all is not completely lost in the human race and that there is care among us and our fellow beings.

What an inspiring movie and so well filmed and documented. Each time it is on, I watch it without fail. So nice to see true human caring and responsibility to all things.

We can all learn something from the unwavering focus and support from so many people in overcoming the charge and many times unnecessary destruction of what is left of our former world and mostly in the name of greed and money. It is so nice to see greed being beaten back! We all can learn from this wonderful film.

  • Truly great movie

This is a story of a time in our country's history that was dire in many respects. One of the alternatives was horse racing to soothe the soul and give people something to take their troubles away.

In this era comes an unwanted horse, an unwanted and misunderstood trainer, a jockey going nowhere, and a gregarious owner who made a fortune selling the first Buicks with no more than $20 to his name.

It is a story of ups and downs that a fiction writer could not conceive of. It is true life to it's highest point.

I have visited Ridgewood Ranch in California (Seabiscuit's home) and the energy is still there.

This movie tells the whole and true story and is well worth seeing.
